Choosing a file does not upload it to CraftPorter, Etsy, WooCommerce, or an AI service. Your browser reads the file, converts the rows, and creates the downloads on your device.
Your listings and downloads
CraftPorter has no file-upload endpoint, user account, or catalog database. The converter does not save your CSV, filename, listing text, SKUs, image URLs, or conversion report to a server, cookies, or browser storage.
The current tab holds the file and results while you use it. Reloading or closing the page ends that in-page session; it does not delete the original file or downloads you saved. Your browser and device control their own download history and file retention.
The converter copies supported image URLs into the output CSV without fetching the photos. If you later import that file into WooCommerce, your WordPress server requests the images. That separate import is controlled by your store and hosting provider.
Visiting a website still makes network requests
Cloudflare serves CraftPorter’s pages, styles, scripts, and public example files. Like any web host, it receives connection and HTTP request information, such as an IP address and the URL requested, to deliver and protect the site. This is separate from CSV conversion: your chosen file is not part of those requests.
Hosting and security processing are described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. CraftPorter uses system fonts; it does not load Google Fonts.
Traffic and performance statistics
Cloudflare Web Analytics may be served by our hosting configuration. When served, its JavaScript beacon reports page visits and loading performance, with breakdowns such as page path, referrer, country, browser, and device type. This notice covers that hosting-level measurement; there is no analytics code in the CSV converter itself.
Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as privacy-first and says it does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. See its analytics overview and data collection explanation. These analytics claims do not mean the hosting service receives no connection information.
We do not send file contents, filenames, product details, preview text, or conversion reports as analytics events. We do not use advertising pixels, session recording, or Google Analytics. Traffic totals are not completed-conversion counts: Cloudflare Web Analytics does not currently support custom conversion events.
Your choices
- You can read the guides or use our fictional example without choosing your own file.
- The converter does not require cookies, a login, or permission to store your catalog.
- Blocking the Cloudflare analytics beacon does not disable CSV conversion.
- Keep private shop information out of page URLs and anything you voluntarily share with another person.
Voluntary feedback is separate
CraftPorter does not automatically send support messages, files, or import outcomes. If you choose to email [email protected], your email address, message, and anything you attach are processed by your email provider, Cloudflare Email Routing, and our Google-hosted support inbox. We can read and use that message to respond and investigate the issue. This voluntary email is separate from the local CSV converter.
Please share only a warning code or sanitized error description—not a whole catalog, customer information, credentials, or private links. Support email remains in the support inbox unless removed; it is not covered by the converter’s no-file-retention promise. You can use the same address to request deletion of a support conversation. We will ask separately before publishing a quote or identifying your shop. See contact and feedback instructions.
